I am David Nichol, and I run this myself.
North Tucson Laundry Service is not a franchise, an app, or a call center in another state. It is one person with a truck and a route through north Tucson, doing the same houses on the same days every week.
I started it because the laundry services around here are built for people who want to tap a button and never speak to anyone. That suits some people fine. It does not suit a household that wants to know who is coming to the door, wants it to be the same person each week, and wants to be able to call and say we will be out of town on the fourteenth without navigating a website to do it.
So that is what this is. A regular time, a familiar face, laundry done properly, and a flat price that does not move.
How I work
The route stays small
I would rather serve a handful of households well than run a schedule I cannot keep. If I am ever full, I will tell you that instead of taking your money and being late.
Same-day turnaround
Picked up in the morning, back at your door that evening. Most services in Tucson take a day or two, and some take three.
Folded by hand, sorted your way
Towels stacked, shirts on hangers if you want them, everything sorted so it goes straight into the drawer. Tell me once and I will remember.
Insured, and straightforward about it
I carry general liability and customer property coverage, and I will hand you the certificate before you hand me anything. If something is damaged or lost, I replace it. No depreciation schedule, no argument.
No contract, no lock-in
Pause it for a trip or stop it entirely with a phone call. No cancellation fee, no minimum term, no penalty for skipping a week. If the service stops being worth it to you, it should be easy to end.
The price does not move
What you start at is what you stay at. I am not going to get you used to having Saturdays back and then raise the rate on you.
Where I go
Oro Valley, Catalina Foothills, and Casas Adobes.
If you are just outside that and you want service, call and ask. The route grows in whatever direction the customers are.
